Hey Everybody!! It’s Monday again!! Another week filled with school, sports and clubs. With so much going on, it’s easy to lose track of why you’re doing all the things you are doing. One of my coaches told us a quote today at practice, and I think that it definitely applies to EVERYONE. “Short-term success gives you a small taste of happiness. Overall happiness gives you long-term success.” I think that the most important thing we can take from this is that nothing is worth your time if you are not enjoying yourself and truly care for it. In everything we do, successes here and there will give you bits and pieces of happy moments that don’t last very long. However being happy about what you do is the key to bring you the success we need in life. On that note, school may be a drag but think about the positive aspects of it and try to be a little more optimistic everyday! It will make you excited and eager to start off a new day in the morning, and the perks of success will automatically come to you! xoxo Kristine
School is starting in two days for most of us and I know that we’re all dreading waking up early and going to class at 7:30am! As much as I love school and learning new things, staying awake can be difficult especially if I was staying up late the night before trying to finish up a paper or studying for a test.
That is why, I want to start weekly motivational posts! While senior year will keep me busy, I want to find some time to keep this blog going! What better way than doing #motivationalmonday posts?! Not only will I be able to keep myself going through the week, but hopefully I will be able to help some of you get through the week too! My first post will be on Tuesday instead of Monday this week because school starts on Tuesday! I hope you guys enjoy this #motivationmonday series and enjoy Labor Day weekend 🙂

A few days ago, it was Kristine’s birthday! We celebrated by going out to lunch at a Italian pizzeria called Tutta Bella (we will do a review post very soon!). We had so much fun catching up and having out little girl talks. What better way to spend your birthday then with your best friend(s) right?!
Kristine and I met in 3rd grade when she came to my school and joined my soccer team. We clicked instantly and have been best friends ever since! What I love about Kristine is her kind hearted nature. She is the sweetest, most honest, and loyalest friend one can ever have. Kristine is always there for me and knows exactly what to say to cheer me up if I ever feel down. While she may seem reserved at first, she is actually very loquacious and humorous! I am so lucky to have a friend like her and I can not wait to start senior year with this zealous gal!
I would love to hear your stories about meeting your best friend and what you love about him/her, so share them in the comments below! 🙂
